Michael A. Jordan

Michael is a former Senior Military Officer with broad risk assessment experience in a variety of fast-paced and demanding executive roles in Canada and abroad, including extensive diplomatic service at missions overseas. Michael is a transformational leader with a track record of success in leading and motivating teams of professionals to focus on and achieve outstanding results.  

His current position as Director of the Polar Continental Shelf Program has had Michael focused on supporting science and sovereignty across the Canadian landmass with a focus on the Arctic.  He considers cross-sector innovation to be essential to accelerating the timetable of progress while bringing Awesome to science and discovery in Canada.
